POI: Pax

There comes a time in everyone's journey when they reach a trough. The inevitable barrier. The daunting wall, one that appears insurmountable from the view of the desperate. It's at times like this... the desperate times... that people tell stories of the spectral paths. People talk about visions of a dirt road, leading to a small and isolated wooden shack. Inside, lit by candles and the spirits of Saurians past, is where you will find Pax. Pax, by nature, is a Saurian of Apothiki. That is a fact that they cannot change, but, instead of pursuing the manipulation of time, or devoting one's self to the hierarchy of the "Awakened Path", Pax has rejected them both. Acting without oversight, and without peer, Pax will tell you that they are a provider of Hope. They will say that, for the right sacrifice, they will offer a hand to help you escape the deepest of trenches and the most challenging of hardships. They will tell you that they provide exactly what is asked of them... ...others will make different claims. Declarations that Pax is a trickster, a swindler, a facade hiding a fragile ego, all will be heard if you ask enough people. However, there is one aspect that all stories of Pax corroborate - once the deal is struck, it is always fulfilled. Pronouns: They/Them Played by: Jon
